Having first hand experience with complex mental health concerns and our health care system, Nina wanted to do something to help others feeling how she is.
Mid-July 2022, Nina asked her mom if she could make some first aid kits for kids who self harm. Gail loved the idea, then wondered what it would look like to establish a non profit for accountability, legitimacy, and credibility.
Immediately Gail reached out to her network and found great support for the idea and everyone she talked to had even more ideas on how this and more could be accomplished.
Our founding members span from Canadian coast to coast, and we are so pleased to announce that 2465437 Alberta Society was Incorporated in Alberta on October 3, 2022!
We are officially getting started!
